Marvel’s MCU Phase 4: Everything We Know About The Future Of The MCU

The energy at Marvel’s Hall H panel Saturday evening was through the roof, it kicked off with a montage of scenes from the 23 MCU movies, voiced over by Iron Man lines. President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige took the stage to reveal exciting news related to the Phase 4 of MCU, several projects are set to be released over the next two years including both movies and TV series.

The future works will be consisting of:

Black Widow Movie

The long-rumored Black Widow is happening, starring, of course, Scarlett Johansson, and will be directed by Cate Shortland. The movie is set to hit theaters May 1, 2020, and will take place shortly after Captain America: Civil War making it a prequel to the latest two Avengers movies.

Blade Movie

“I’m going to leave you with one more thing that I don’t think has been rumored about,” Feige addressed the crowd before introducing Mahershala Ali to join him on stage and announcing that Oscar winner will be portraying the new Blade.

Doctor Strange the Multiverse of Madness Movie

Not much is known about this movie but the title indicates the kind of multiverse madness that was introduced Spider-Man: Far From Home. The sequel is set to be released on May 7, 2021.

Hawkeye Disney Series

The series will Jeremy Renner reprising his role as the archer Hawkeye, the series will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Hawkeye’s character will appear alongside Kate Bishop, who in the comics has taken on the mantle of Hawkeye. The series will arrive on Disney Plus the Fall of 2021.

Loki Disney Series

This series will tell us what happened to Loki right after when he acquired the Tesseract during the Avengers’ failed “time heist” and teleported himself out of the scene. The series is set to arrive on Disney Plus in the Spring of 2021 and Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as the God of Mischief.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Movie

The series will star Simu Liu in the main role and featuring the villain Mandarin, who will be played by Tony Leung, and will see Shang-Chi facing off against the Ten Rings organization introduced in Iron Man. The series is set to be released on Feb. 12, 2021.

The Eternals Movie

The cast took the stage soon after Kevin Feige confirmed the movie; the movie will be starring both Angelina Jolie and Salma Hawkeye and is set to be released on Nov. 6, 2020.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney Series

The six-part series is expected to follow The Falcon and Winter Soldier after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It will arrive on Disney Plus in the Fall of 2020

Thor 4: Love and Thunder Movie

Thor: Love and Thunder is coming Nov. 5, 2021. It will the fourth movie in the series and will follow the “Mighty Thor” storyline written by Jason Aaron. The movie starring Chris Hemsworth, and with Natalie Portman will be portraying Lady Thor.

Wanda Vision Disney Series

Wanda & Vision Original TV Series will reunite Wanda Maximoff and Vision after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It’s not clear how Vision who was killed in Infinity War will be revived. Fans will just have to wait and watch the series. The series will be released during the Spring of 2021.

“There’s a lot of other stuff we didn’t get to talk about today,” said Feige. “We didn’t mention that we’re making ‘Black Panther 2,’ we didn’t mention the fact that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3′ is coming, we didn’t have time to talk about ‘Captain Marvel 2,’ I didn’t even have time to talk about the Fantastic Four, and there’s no time left to talk about mutants, but you’ve heard all the rumors.” Feige teased what would be coming down the line in upcoming phases at the end of the panel.
