It has finally happened folks, the moment the entire world has been waiting for. On Monday 6th of May, it was announced that Prince Harry and his wife the Duchess of Sussex have given birth to a healthy baby boy.
The royal baby is the first child for both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and is set to be seventh in line to the throne. It is the Queen‘s eighth great-grandchild.
Following tradition, a framed announcement of the birth was placed on outside of Buckingham Palace. “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” the announcement read. An announcement was also released on the official page on Instagram.
Harry and Meghan posted a video on their official Instagram page thanking the public for its “support and kindness.”
Also, Prince Harry went on a live video saying that they’re “absolutely thrilled” about the new baby boy. “It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine, we’re both absolutely thrilled.”. He also added that they have not yet chosen a name, but are planning for a public appearance in a couple of days to share their choice for the public and to introduce the new royal baby to the world.
