As ‘90s kids, we were lucky to have gotten the chance to enjoy life when it was simpler. We experienced happy childhoods before technology took over and childhood innocence got destroyed.
Here’s a list of things that we had back in the 90s and totally miss these days:
It was shameful if you couldn’t perfect the square stitch!
2. The fishing game
How many fish did you save playing this game?
3. Collectable tazos
And the competitions you had with your friends on who had more?!
Especially those Pokémon ones.
4. Push pencils
It was such a disaster if you lost any of those pieces..
5. Pencil erasers
No one wanted the hassle of having a separate eraser, having one of those that stuck on your pencil was way much cooler.
More points if you had the ones with special shapes.
6. Pen erasers
Speaking of erasers, who didn’t deliberately make mistakes with a pen so he can use those? (and it didn’t even work)
7. Multi-color pens
8. Magic bird
Well, I don’t know what’s it called, but we definitely wowed people deceiving them that we can do magic. (Of course we didn’t)
9. Tattoo chokers
Wait, are these back in style? *searches in drawer already*
Long before the DreamWorks Trolls © movie, we had them on our desks, beside our beds, and in our bags! And as creepy as they look, we still loved them anyway.
All colors, all shapes and even with scents!
12. Baby born
It was the most modern thing to own one of those and practice all the motherhood skills that existed. The most minblowing thing was that the doll could pee!
13. Nintendo game console
Only pros in gaming and the coolest of all had this, and had a wide collection of games with it.
14. The Walkman
Listening to music on the go was never better with this portable cassette player. You could play the radio on some of them too!
15. Rubik’s cube
I don’t think anyone ever solved this thing! It was impossible.
There is probably no ‘90s kid that didn’t own at least one or two of these things. Feel nostalgic? Share with us your memories as a kid and tell us what else did you love having?
Also, stay tuned for pt.II and more to reminisce about.
