Rumors have surfaced that Johnny Depp has been dropped out from future Pirates of the Caribbean movies. This news came out after the confirmation that the franchise will indeed get a reboot but Disney.

Johnny Depp who is known worldwide as the sarcastic pirate Jack Sparrow has played the lead in five movies through the period of 15 years of production, but it seems that his time has ended.

The original screenwriter Stuart Beattie seems to have confirmed the news during his interview with Daily Mail TV, as he nodded when asked if Johnny Depp’s reign as the famous pirate has ended.

However, that won’t affect Johnny Depp’s career in any way, as the highly acclaimed actor is scheduled to star in the upcoming Harry Potter Prequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
