What does Kim Kardashian do other than being wife of rapper Kanye West and mother of Saint, North and Chicago? That’s exactly what president of Uganda (and many people around the world) wondered.
Power couple Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian have been in East Africa for almost a week; as West reportedly films a new music video. During their trip, the pair met with President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, and his daughter Diana Museveni Kamuntu, in Ugandan town; Entebbe.
As this meeting went, it turned out the 74-year-old leader had no idea what controversial Kim does for a living. She mentioned she had to leave early for work, so he asked her spontaneously what her job is! And that’s when she said she had a TV show with sisters and family and they were all waiting for her return, but obviously the president hasn’t been “keeping up”.
Meanwhile, West stepped up amid their talks and gifted the Ugandan President with a pair of Yeezy white sneakers with his and Kim’s signatures.
Museveni revealed the details of his meeting with Kimye in a tweet on Monday, in which he seemed happy with the encounter:
I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and @KimKardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda's tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa. pic.twitter.com/BO0iD0sFCP

However, he simply called the couple “entertainment stars” and they allegedly talked about children, the economy and tourism. Deep enough?
