Yesterday, Friday the 12th of October the world gathered once again to witness another spectacular Royal Wedding. Princess Eugenie of York married her longtime partner Jack Brooksbank in a beautiful ceremony in St George’s Chapel.
Princess Eugenie, 28, younger daughter of the Queen‘s third child Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York and the ninth in line of succession to the British throne, exchanged vows with Mr. Brooksbank, the 32 years old drinks executive, at Windsor Castle.
The world stood in awe when Princess Eugenie stepped out of the car, looking stunning in a perfect wedding gown designed by Peter Pilotto. And we immediately fell in love with the long sleeves, the jacquard fabric an, off shoulder shape with a fold over detailing. And we can’t overlook the voluminous skirt and train, add all of that to a simple updo, and finishing the look by the exquisite tiara “Greville Emerald Kokoshnik” loaned to her by the Queen, the princess looked absolutely gorgeous.
The back of the dress was a special request from the Princess herself as she wanted to show her scar which she obtained when she had to go through surgery at the age of 12 to correct her scoliosis.
“I think you can change the way beauty is,” Eugenie said ahead of her wedding. “And you can show people your scars and I think it’s really special to stand up for that.”
The beautiful couple looked radiant and glowing from happiness while exchanging the rings. We can definetly witness the love between them through their smiles.
