6 Teenage Girls Arrested For Egyptian Student Mariam Moustafa’s Murder

After months of speaking up for Mariam Moustafa’s justice, her attorney has just announced that 6 of the 10 teenage girls who have assaulted Mariam have been summoned to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 27 September. Three 17-year-old girls, two 15-year-olds, and a 19-year-old woman will be individually trialled for Mariam’s murder with a charge of affray against all of them.

For all of you who aren’t familiar with the Mariam Moustafa tragedy, she’s an Egyptian engineering student in the UK who has been assaulted on February 20 in central Nottingham by a gang of English teenage girls who have brutally punched and kicked her until she was left in a coma, eventually succumbing to her injuries and dying on March 14.

Bear in mind that this was not the first time; Mariam and her sister were assaulted before by a group of girls (with 2 of the same attackers), but no actions were taken because there was no footage, although her mother claimed there were a lot of witnesses.
