How To have Better Mornings After Long Vacations

Getting to start a new week after the best vacation can be quite exhausting especially when you have so much to do. Here are our tips to to have better mornings more frequently when you just don’t feel like it.

1- Prepare

Some people just perform better during nights, We name them “Night owls”. You can take benefits from this by preparing for the day which will shorten the time you need to get ready so that you could get more sleep. You can prepare your outfit so, you don’t stare for hours to your closet while thinking “I have nothing to wear”. You can also prepare your breakfast and put it in the refrigerator and all you have to do for a yummy start of the day is to reheat it. The most important preparation of them all, is to have a list of tasks you should do during the day. This will help you to know how the day will go and will also be a key to time management.

2- No snoozing

Instead of snoozing your alarm for 50 times and finally waking up with greatest headache, you should set your alarm for the latest time you can wake up in without being in a rush. This will help you to get a “quality sleep” and prevent one more reason for a headache.

3- Postpone your scroll

Most of us developed a habit of scrolling for hours before actually getting out of bed and let’s say it’s not the best habit to keep!

Scrolling your social media will eventually lead to a great waste of time but it’s not the best way to start your day. You are forcing your brain to deal with bad news, new trends and comparisons way too early. Try to wait an hour or two until you are fully awake.

4- Simplicity

Keep your skincare, hair care and makeup simple. Try to use products that can save you so much time. If you are running out of time, you can use a BB cream instead of using a moisturizer, your sunblock and your foundation. Try keeping your hair in braids the night before to wake up with nice beachy waves, this works as a protective hairstyle during your sleep and also keeps your hair heat free. Heat free hairstyles = healthier hair!

5- Start on a high note


Start with your favourite tasks. It maybe your favourite song, wearing your favourite outfit or even eating your breakfast. This will help you stay positive for the rest of the day and motivate you to move on to the real challenges.

Summer is always fun and we do hope this vacation would last forever. But unfortunately, we have to go back to our hectic lives. Let’s make it a fresh start then.
