Mashrou’ Leila Featured in The New Apple Watch Campaign

Just yesterday, the Lebanese band “Mashrou’ Leila” announced on their official instagram account that their song “3 minutes” is being featured in the new Apple watch series campaign. That makes Mashrou’ Leila the first Arab band to be featured in an Apple campaign.


The song was a part of their last released studio album “Ibn El Leil” which was released in 2015, followed by the deluxe edition of the same album released in 2017.


The Apple watch series 3, which was first released late in 2017, is a stainless steel watch covered with a ceramic back that operates on watchOS 4.0. The watch also has sapphire crystal glass to provide ultimate protection and durability.

The watch comes with a built-in GPS and altimeter to make tracking your workout easier than ever. It also helps you monitor your heartbeats and the amount of running, cycling or swimming you do and keeps records for you to be able to check them out later.

If all of that isn’t enough, the watch also works as a private personal trainer that analyzes your daily workout routine and gives you suggestions on how to improve or if you’re working out too much or too little.

And naturally, all other basic features weren’t ignored during the manufacturing of the watch, so you’ll easily be able to call, text, make notes, set alarms and play music, but you’ll need an iPhone 6 or later to be able to connect to the Apple watch, meaning that it will NOT be suitable for iPhone 5s or earlier users.
