Father’s day is all about celebrating the fathers and honoring them and everything they do for their children and families. How could we celebrate this year’s father’s day during the World Cup without paying tribute to these World Cup fathers?

1-Mohamed Salah:


The Best player in the Premier League who unfortunately missed Egypt’s first match against Uruguay, has a lovely daughter named Makka who completely stole the show when her father was receiving the league’s top goalscorer’s award after scoring 32 goals surpassing Harry Kane.

2-Leo Messi:


The Argentinian is definitely one of the best players in the world but he is also a loving family man. Messi and Antonella has known each other since they were five but it all began in 1996, when Messi and Lucas Scaglia, the cousin of Antonella and Leo’s friend, began spending time together. The couple has 3 children after welcoming Ciro in 2018. Their elder son, Thiago, was born in 2012 and Mateo followed in 2015.

3-Cristiano Ronaldo:


Cristiano Ronaldo is not only a great footballer but also a proud father of four. Cristiano Jr. was born in 2010 and his mother’s identity has never been revealed, Ronaldo welcomed twins Eva Maria and Mateo via a surrogate mother and recently he welcomed Alana with his partner Georgina Rodriguez.



Brazil’s star became a father at the age of 19. Neymar and his his ex girlfriend, Carolina Nogueira Dantas welcomed David Lucca in 2011 .

The Argentinian striker who plays for Manchester City married Gianinna Maradona, daughter of legendary footballer Diego Maradona and the couple welcomed their son, Benjamin in 2009 but the couple got divorced in 2013.

2010 was officially the best year for Pique because 2010 is the year when the Spanish payer won the world cup and it’s also when he started dating the Colombian pop singer Shakira. The couple has 2 lovely kids, Milan and Sasha.

The star of the Belgium national team is married to Natacha Van Honacker and has three sons Yannis (7 years old), Leo (5 years old) and Sammy (2 years old).

The Spanish midfielder is also a proud father to three children. Iniesta has been married to Anna Ortiz since July 2012. They have two daughters, Valeria and Siena and a son, Paolo Andrea.

10-Luis Suarez:


Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez who played Egypt last Friday is also a loving father. Suárez has a daughter and a son, Delfina and Benjamin with his wife Sofia Balbi. The Uruguayan’s family is believed to be close friends with Messi’s family.
