In Egypt’s Sohag, a teenager set fire to her house; her mother and brother lost their lives, and another sibling suffered injuries. The incident happened in compliance with Blue Whale game’s instructions.
Firefighters took control of the fire, but the mother (Shaymaa) and her son (Mohammed) died in it. Another younger brother (Taha) survived the fire but suffered from several burns.
Investigators suspect criminal motives to be behind the fire by the victim’s daughter Shahinaz, 17, a student who suffers from mental disorders. She’s in custody and prosecutors will further investigate the incident.
And the list continues. The question is why isn’t anyone taking actions or banning this game from Egypt? Why and how are teens still able to find their ways to this game?
