Dolce and Gabbana Goes Next Level with Three-day Fashion Extravaganza

Dolce and Gabbana do no games concerning their fashion shows, but this time they threw a very special Alta weekend in New York city, showcasing their Alta collections: Gioielleria, Sartoria and Moda, and the extravaganza was a one for the books! Since we’re used to have these Alta collections showcased in Italian destinations, everyone was pretty excited to watch the classic couture hit the runways of New York in the Metropolitan Opera House.

“We love everything about the city, the food, the people you meet on the streets, the skyscrapers, the restaurants, the subway, the nightlife, the lights that never go out. I could go on forever,” said Gabbana to Vogue. Added Dolce, “To us, New York is the city where dreams come true.”

The weekend started off with a presentation of the brand’s Alta Gioielleria jewelery on Friday, then men’s couture Alta Sartoria and ended with women’s collection at the Opera House turning all heads to how the brand competes on another level.

The show was star studded with A-list celebrities as Dakota Fanning, Catherine Zeta Jones, Diane Kruger and Jamie Foxx. And as always, the lineup is always real gold featuring all your favorite supermodels including Joan Smalls, Stella Maxwell, Sara Sampaio, Elsa Hosk, Ashley Graham, Halima Aden, in addition to Karlie Kloss opening the full show, and the real queen of the runway Naomi Campbell closing the show. Always a grace to the catwalk!

It’s no lie that the show was way extra that it turned into a meme material, but can we blame fashion? There’s no rules!
