The High Priestess of Bollywood dies at the age of 54

Bollywood mourns the death of one of its most beloved and talented actress, we are sad to report that Sridevi Kapoor, the high priestess of Bollywood cinema has passed away on Saturday. Sridevi was attending a family wedding in Dubai when she later suffered a fatal cardiac arrest. She was 54 years old.
Upon hearing the news all of Bollywood’s elite actors and actress rushed to social media to pay their respects to the fallen actress; leaving several photos and videos as a tribute to her outstanding career.
Sridevi started her acting career as a child and continued in the industry for years, it was later on when she took a leave of absence to raise her two children; then making a comeback in the 2012 movie English Vinglish, which gained her a lot of positive reviews and nominations due to her outstanding performance.

Sridevi‘s final work was the 2017 crime movie MOM, which delivered a breathtaking performance of her role as a mom and highlighting a very important message, Sridevi was nominated for the award of Best actress.
Of her five decades of acting career, Sridevi starred in over a 150 movie pictures, earning her the title of High Priestess.
