Being a senior is very weird. Contradictory emotions fill you; from the fear of the future to the excitement of the unknown and the sadness -or happiness- of leaving university once and for all. At this phase, when you’re only a couple of months away from one of the biggest life transitions you’ll ever face, you still worry about waking up for university every morning. I mean, who doesn’t wake up to thoughts like
- Why does it have to be in the morning?
It’s just inhumane. Having to wake up every morning to see professors who will literally say the same thing you’ve been studying for the past four or five years, Why do they have to do this?
2. Do I really need that degree?
You start to question everything you’re doing only to spend a couple more minutes in your warm bed. I mean, Mark Zuckerberg is a college dropout.
3. When did the snooze button became that tempting?
Well, you know that you’ll most probably regret this but you can’t resist hitting the snooze button. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
4. Gotta check Whatsapp first.
You end up checking Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest,…,etc.
5. Shit, I think I’m late.
Come on, when were you not late?
Everybody has their morning thoughts, but being a senior student who’s only a couple of months away from graduation makes it a bit harder. You just wish to fast forward to your last exam ever and get it over with. However, let’s be honest, soon enough you’ll graduate and you’ll have to face those thoughts everyday, that includes summer too. Sorry bro, life is not fair.
