Giza prosecution accused the Russian Belly dancer Ekaterina Andreeva, famously known as ‘Jawhara’, of inciting debauchery claiming she was semi naked following several footage of the dancer going viral on Facebook of her latest performance in one of Giza’s night clubs.
General directorate of Tourism and Antiques and Giza’s prosecution office are accusing the Russian dancer of not wearing the clothes authorized; the shorts, and dancing without license in the club, according to AlMasry Alyoum. The dancer was later released
Walid Badr, the Head of the Public Administration of Tourism Police, under the supervision of General Hesham Kadry and the Police commissioner Khaled ElMeligy revealing that the belly dancer has been performing in Egypt for less than a month. The dancer’s suit was also taken into the investigation for evidence and the russian 31-year-old dancer accused the police of stealing it.
“If I wanted to dance naked, I would have done it in Russia. The dance suit that was shown in the videos is not provocative and is just like the costumes the dancers wear in Egypt.” Ekaterina revealed to AlMasry AlYoum
Jawhara also revealed to NRJ radio,” The literary works are responsible for deciding the dancing suits” she continued “And the description did not include shorts under the suit”.
