6 Tasty Detox Drinks for Weight Loss

Our tans are starting to fade but the extra body fat we gained over the summer is surely here to stay unless we start doing something about it.

Here are six detox drinks for an all-natural weight loss and a slim down.

1. Green Tea & Lemon
Ingredients:
Water – 1 green tea bag – 1/2 a lemon
Recipe:
1. Boil the water & put the green tea bag in it
2. Add the lemon juice
Have it hot!

2. Fat Burn Detox Water #1
Ingredients: Green Apple – Apple Cider Vinegar – Ground Cinnamon – Honey – Water
Recipe: 1. Slice the green apple and toss it into a jar
2. Add 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp of honey and 1 litre of water.
3. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight
Have it cold!

3. Fat Burn Detox Water #2
Ingredients:
Water – Watermelon or Cucumber – Lime – Fresh Mint Leaves
Recipe:
1. Cut the watermelon into cubes (or cucumbers into thick slices and the lime into wedges
2. Toss them into a jar
3. Add mint leaves
4. Add 1 litre of water
5. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight
Have it cold!

4. Good Morning Sunshine Smoothie
Ingredients:
Oranges – Carrots – Honey – Coriander Leaves – Water – Ice Cubes
Recipe:
1. Slice the carrots, peel the oranges and cut them
2. Toss the carrots and the oranges into the food processor
3. Add 1 tbsp of honey
4. Throw in a little less than of a handful of coriander leaves
5. Add 50 ml water
6. Add the ice cubes
7. Give the mixture a spin
Have it cold!

5. Summer Bliss Detox Water
Ingredients:
Strawberries – Kiwi – Watermelon – Mint Leaves – Water
Recipe:
1. Cut the fruits: strawberries in half, kiwi into slices and watermelon into cubes
2. Toss the fruits into a jar
3. Add a few mint leaves
4. Fill the jar up with water
5. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight
Have it cold!

6. Lemon and Cucumber Detox Water
Ingredients:
Lemon – Cucumber – Mint Leaves – Salt – Water
Recipe:
1. Cut 1 lemon into wedges and slice 1 cucumber
2. Toss them into a jar
3. Add a few mint leaves
4. Add a pinch of salt
5. Pour 1 litre of water into the jar
6. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Have it Cold!
