12 Egyptian Brands Taking Over The Fashion World

Egyptian fashion, accessories and jewelry designers have been taking a good area in the fashion world. There are names that are taking it worldwide and already competing with international ones, and there are others that we predict them to do so. We’ve got you 12 local brands that we’re ultimately proud of:

  • Shahira Lasheen

Shahira’s Atelier is currently one of the most successful ateliers in Cairo. She was nominated for  the 10 best upcoming young Arab designers by Zuhair Murad. She started her brand in 2010, and made a huge success since then. Her designs are out of the world, and her hand-embroidery and details make her brand outstanding.

Taking the jewelry designing into a whole new stunning level! Khafaga’s brand has been seen everywhere worn by Arab celebrities, and it’s obviously because the designs are so original and fancy.

  • Zak

Zak is an elegant couture brand by designer Amani Zaki. Inspired by princesses vibes, a Zak dress can easily make you feel glamorous. Previously taken part in Cairo Fashion Festival season 6 and it’s probably going to make it internationally sooner than we might think.

Sisters Mounaz and Aya are rocking the world with their heavenly unique bags. They combine leather with gold/silver plated copper in such unique and exquisite designs. Not only did their brand win The Vogue Arabia Fashion Prize 2016, their bags are already taking over the streets of NYC and Paris worn by celebrities as Emma Watson, Emma Roberts, Gigi Hadid and Kris Jenner.

You’ve probably seen your favorite celebrities on red-carpets in Farah’s art. The designs are mostly combined of materials and prints elegantly connected together, in addition to attractive embroidery to make the perfect masterpieces.
