Book Review: It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

“Sometimes the one who loves you is the one who hurts you the most”

The #1 New York Times best seller author of Slammed, Maybe someday and Ugly Love is back with a new captivating story that you’ll never forget.

Colleen Hoover is known for her gentle writing style that combines Romance and Drama but this time she wanted to deliver a powerful message, too.

Without any spoilers, “It ends with us” revolves around Lily Bloom, a girl with a disturbed childhood who came a long way from a small town to settle in Boston hoping for a new better life where she can achieve her dreams and find love.

This young adult novel is not like any other novel Hoover wrote, as she shed the light on the domestic abuse crisis that faces a lot of girls and women, even the writer herself faced which makes it a very personal story. I believe that each and every woman should read this story.

“It ends with us” is an inspiring and captivating story that is definitely one of the best books of 2016 and once you start reading it, you’ll never be able to put down.

As a romance reader and a Colleen Hoover’s fan, I assure you that this story is not a stereotypial romance story as it’s not about a love triangle or a bad boy and a good girl love story.

One of my favorite moments when I’m reading any book is when the novel’s title makes sense and it was a victorious feeling during this book because I was trying to figure out what does the title have to do with this story in every single chapter.

This book is full of quotes that needs to be highlighted and definitely a must read that I can proudly recommend to everyone.
