Amr Diab Came First in Forbes Top 100 Influential Arab Celebrities

This year, Forbes created a list of the most influential Arab celebrities for the first time. They studied over 500 public figures from different aspects, measuring the influence and popularity of actors, singers and TV personalities from the Arab world.

Forbes Middle east stated on their official website that they gave the most weight to social media, but other things were taken into consideration such as the length of the celebrity’s showbiz career, and their activities outside of their dominant field.

Amr Diab came on top of this list, which is no surprise at all; Amr Diab has been dominating the field for the past 30 years, you can see that from pictures of his latest concert at Porto Marina.

Sherine Abdel-Wahab who has been under fire for attacking El Hadaba came 13th on the list, following Tamer Hosny and Ahmed Helmy.

The list was mainly dominated by musicians, which made 9 out of the top 10 most influential figures in 2017, and among countries Egypt was dominating with 46 out of the top 100.

On top of the most influential actors of the year came El Za3im, Adel Imam. Asser Yassin, Ahmed Helmy, Ahmed El-Sakka, Hend Sabry, Donia Samir Ghanem, Dorra and Mona Zaki made it to the list as well.
