Top 10 Best EPL Signings So Far

With the Premiere League starting soon, lots of major changes have happened to the teams this year; some maybe were shocking for the fans while others were just what the team needed!

Let’s take a look on the top 10 best new players joining the Premier league!

  1. Wayne Rooney

The veteran returned to his home town club, Everton, after being at Manchester United from 2004 coming from Everton as the one of the most expensive young players at that time. Rooney left the United as their top goal scorer in all competitions in their History. Rooney won all sorts of Trophies at Manchester United so he is coming to Everton expecting to do the same and fight for trophies and bringing silver ware back to Goodison Park.

  1. Rudiger

The young German defender came from Roma to Chelsea in a deal worth 33 Million Euros. Rudiger has just won the Cup of Nations with his country, Germany.m. Rudiger is added to an already pretty solid defense for the blues, so there is competition and he is expected to add to that. Rudiger took Branislav Ivanovic’s number 2 jersey and we’re quite sure he isn’t planning on being number 2 to anyone!

  1. Kyle Walker

All eyes on him but he only got eyes for the sky blues! Pep has been targeting the spurs right back for a long time now, since the outstanding performance from the whole team last season. Pep  Guardiola finally got his hands on Kyle by topping him on the most expensive defenders of all time with a transferfee of 55 million Euros. We hope it’s worth it this time

7. Bakayako

Find me a team that would pass through Kante and Bakayako in the midfield? Chelsea has completed the signing of the Monaco midfielder with a transferfee worth 40 million Euros! The French guy had a huge role in Monaco’s road for the Champions League last season, he was one of the stars who’ve lightened up the field alongside Mbappe and Flacao.Looks like the Blues squad are just getting stronger and stronger everyday.

  1. Bernardo Silva

The Portuguese Playmaker joined Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City coming From Monaco in a deal worth 43.6 Million Euros. The Left footed wide Playmaker hade a stellar Season With Monaco last year as he Won the Ligue 1 and reached The Semi Finals of the Champions league before getting knocked out by Juventus. Also reaching the French Cup final but losing to Paris Saint Germain at the end. Bernardo is going to add creativity and flair to Manchester City team already full of that. The PL is glad to have you Bernardo!

5. Defoe

Jermain has no promises for Bournemouth except an upcoming quite number of goals! He’s back with his previous club in 2001 on a free transfer after spending 3 whole years with the black cats (Sunderland) and getting to meet his friend Bradley Lowery who happened to be a friend for all football fans around the world not only Jermain, rest in peace you little hero.

  1. Lacazette

The french striker breezed in from Lyon last season and was put into a quite number of clubs wish list but a gunner is what he chooses to be! However, A 53 million Euros offer is an undeniable one too. The 26 year old player is already putting hopes into the gunners’ hearts, all expecting a powerful trio next season alongside Ozil and Sanchez, but will they finish the EPL race as 4th place too? We’ll see.

  1. Mohamed Salah

Our boy just opened another chapter in his life by getting back to the EPL with a transfer fee worth  42 million Euros. Klopp is not only putting faith in him, he believes that his debut against Wigan atletics was a sign for the future of Liverpool. Since the join of Salah to Roma, we’ve been watching Roma’s kits all over the football fields in Egypt, are we expecting a Liverpool kit to invade?

  1. Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford is one of Everton most expensive signings coming from Sunderland in a deal worth 30 Million Euros. Despite Sunderland being relegated Pickford was one of their main hopes of light during last season, averaging 4.7 Saves per game. So, Pickford is expected to hit the ground running (or saving in this case) as he is in the form of his life.

  1. Romelu Lukaku

So the Belgian Center Forward is now United’s new number 9! He came in a mega deal worth 75M Euros and Wayne Rooney. Lukakau is one of the EPL top scorers last season scoring 25 Goals only outscored by Tottenham’s Harry Kane. Lukaku has been in the PL for 7 years now, From Chelsea to WBA to Everton and now lastly Manchester United. Lukaku is following a great legacy of strikers such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and so on, so simply Lukaku has some big shoes to fill!

Seems like an interesting season is coming ahead. Share with us your expectations of the EPL this year in the comments section below!
