The next stage is knockout stage where Groups A and B meet and Groups C and D meet in a one night match to fight for a place in the quarterfinals!
Here how it goes, the first in group A (A1) will play against the last in group B (A4) etc. So this means that Egypt will be playing their next game against A2 (Argentina) tomorrow at 8:30.

The winner will directly be qualified to the quarterfinals and the loser will still have chance for classification 9-16.
So far, the Egyptian team has been doing okay. The best performance came from Omar ElSheikh who scored a slam-dunk against Lithuania, one of the bests in the game so far! We’ve also witnessed a great performance from Bebo against Puerto Rico as he netted the three pointer winner in the last minute. And we definitely cannot forget the little boy, Mohamed Osama, who had a great role in the win against Puerto Rico too.
8 teams will compete to the Quarterfinals and Egypt still has a shot for the finals!
Going Deep wishes the best of luck to our boys in their upcoming games!
