So yesterday, on the 22nd of June, history was made as one of our own favorites, Mohamed Salah, broke history records for 5 times.
Salah just became the most expensive Egyptian player, breaking his own previous record. He also became the most expensive African player surpassing Sadio Mane who also plays for Liverpool, as well as being the most expensive Arab player surpassing Islam Slimani’s move to Leicster City. Finally Salah just became the most expensive player Roma has ever sold and the most expensive player Liverpool has ever bought.
“I’m feeling the love from Liverpool fans! I will give 100 per cent for this club.” ?

So yes, when we say we are proud of Salah and his accomplishments, we are not just saying that because we are Egyptians. We are saying that because he is an amazing player, Salah already proved to the whole world that he is.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp talked about the acquisition of Salah and how that will add to the team.
“His pace is incredible, he gives us more attacking threat and we are already strong in this area. I like that he will make it even more competitive,” he said
“Most important though, for us, is that he is hungry, willing and eager to be even better and improve further.”
Salah was quoted after moving to Liverpool that he really liked the atmosphere there and is ready to get on playing for the reds and start competing for trophies once again, to bring back the glory days to Anfield.
Roberto Firmino agreed to switch to the No. 9 squad number so that Salah will get to wear the No. 11 shirt. “I appreciate what Firmino did — I have to thank him very much.
“I like the number 11 — it was my number in Rome and also the national team before.”
According to this, the next Liverpool vs Arsenal is going to be a derby between Salah and ElNeny and we can’t wait!
