The young Egyptian singer/song writer Sarah El Gohary has entered the music industry with heavy steps by signing up a contract with Universal Music MENA, a major music company in the Middle East and North Africa. Her partnership was announced parallel to her announcement of her new single “High” which is supposed to be released on Friday, 14th of July 2017.
This is a huge step for the young singer in her professional career, working with an enormous company in the music industry worldwide while she’s still starting her path as an artist. Universal Music Mena is one of the UMG – or the Universal Music Group – companies which aim to help young talented musicians show their talents to the whole world, and their choice for Sarah couldn’t have been better.
Sarah was born and raised in Abu Dhabi and is famous for songs like “Balloona“, “Elbet CDhat” and “Wenty Mastanety” which she sang with Osama El Hady and her songs were played on Soundcloud 2.5M times. She’s also famous for playing Cinderella’s voice in the movie’s Arabic version. Gohary likes to express herself in her music and to talk about her life experiences in her songs which she later explains with more details with her fans. Sarah was also chosen as one of the top 10 rising artists in the Emirates by YA SALAM, one of the fastest spreading musicians on the internet by nextbigsound.com and he has taken part in Will Smith’s son’s “Tray” reality TV show “The World is Spinning“.
Her new song “High” was written by herself and produced by the famous Pakistani producer “Talal Qureshi” and the video clip was directed by the talented Palestinian movie director “Ahmed Samara“. The video talks about unity music as the world’s universal language despite the different cultures and backgrounds. Sarah is now preparing for her first studio album’s songs which I can’t wait to listen to.
Way to go Gohary, we are all waiting for your new music.
