A Message To Every Girl

Here’s to every girl. Every single girl that has shed a tear for someone who didn’t even deserve her attention. Here’s to every girl that has tried, has tried everything possible to fit in, but still was told that she isn’t good enough. Here’s to every girl that has been treated in the worst ways possible, never did she know that she deserves the world. Here’s to every girl that has fought a battle everyday to get out of bed, or to hold her tears in public transportation, or to fake a smile when all she wanted was to break down and cry.

Here’s to every girl that knows she did everything she could in order not to lose the people who didn’t care about her feelings. Here’s to every girl that has ever hid her cuts or ever self-harmed herself. Here’s to every girl that fights a battle nobody knows anything about. Here’s to every girl that her diary was closer to her than anyone else. Here’s to every girl that exerted too much effort, or had sleepless nights overthinking the relationship that shattered her heart, or starved herself because she hated those curves.

Here’s to every girl that at some point, she was out of tears so she stared blankly at the wall thinking of how broken she felt. Here’s to every girl that had ever cried herself to sleep, or her body ever ached from pain, or her friends ever said that she is a depressed person. Here’s to every girl that her father broke her heart before anyone else ever have, or her mother never understood her, or never had a sister, or her brother made fun of her insecurities. Here’s to every girl that has been there for anyone who ever needed her, but no one was ever there for her when she felt the loneliest. Here’s to every girl that faced anxiety or any mental illness that people never understood.

Here’s to every girl that never felt safe. Here’s to every girl that her home never felt like home and her bed was never comfortable. Here’s to every single girl, no matter what she ever faced, you’re not alone. You’re strong. Your worst day is never longer than 24 hours. You’re going to be okay. You’re going to find the day when you’re thankful for everything that happened because it made who you are. If you’re reading this, I want you to know that not everything will be perfect, but you’re going to make it through. You’re amazing. You’re beautiful. You’re worth it. That’s it!
